Grounding- Anchor your root chakra and ground yourself so you can be held by the earth below and oriented in your life.
Connection to Source- Call in your guides and helpers. Open your crown chakra to the blessings of the universe and let that energy wash through you.
Calm your fight or flight response- Humans are biologically hardwired to become stressed and anxious around other stressed and anxious people and to become stressed when alone. Our biology doesn’t mean we’re doomed to be activated during this time, but we do need to add in more practices/mindfulness to achieve our normal baseline levels of calm. More sensitive = more outside activation.
Disconnect from the collective pain and panic- You don’t want to unconsciously process the overall human activation through your personal emotional matrix. Set your intention to make this shift.
Sooth the emotional matrix- How would you be kind to a child who has had a painful experience? Consider what wisdom you can draw from that to self-sooth.
Access your Wisdom- Invite your inner wise person to the forefront so you can access your resourcefulness, intuition, and wisdom.

Cleanse your home- It’s a great time to wave around a bit of sage or palo santo; to spritz your favorite essential oil or play your singing bowl. Maybe wash your sheets with a little bit of salt for energetic cleansing. Energy can build up over time and become dense. Energetic hygiene makes a big difference.
